The village is playable: Leo walks his town

With the measured pieces, the first complete enclosure was assembled, with physics, collisions, a camera and neighbours. It worked. And it still had to be scrapped.

The previous day’s pieces were assembled into the first complete enclosure: a walled village, with its great hall at the back, its vegetable plots, a fountain in the middle and a couple of market stalls.

And it did not stop at an image. Here it is running in the game, with physics, collisions, a camera and the neighbours already placed:

It is one of those days that pay for several weeks: the place stops being a drawing and becomes somewhere you can walk. Leo walks his town.

It could have stopped there.

And yet the whole thing had to be scrapped, for a reason that had nothing to do with how it looked. That is the next entry.
